October 2016 - February 2017
We were able to get some more traveling in towards the end of 2016 and early 2017.
The highlight was meeting E's family at Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for a week long vacation. We FINALLY were able to meet our precious little niece and enjoyed some ocean air.
We had a lovely time....even in spite of having to move condos due to mold. We learned that even intense questioning before renting a place can prove disastrous. Thank goodness they let us move to another condo that was safe before I got too bad (I was getting there ugh). It felt so good to be warm, to splash in the warm water, and to enjoy much missed family time.
My brother and dad spent every morning fishing and they let Chris and I join them.
We had a hilarious time mini-golfing with my family. My sister-in-love crushed us all...all while babywearing. I swear she is Wonder Woman.
Mom making an epic shot while dad looks on unamused...
We then had to venture back to Utah...but not without a massive hit at the airport in Myrle Beach. It was BAD. We already missed one flight to Atlanta due to it being too full and we had to wait for several more hours for the next time. Not good. So we decided to take the flight to PHL for some PA air and to catch the direct flight home the next day. We ended up surprising my grandmother and aunt and took them out to dinner.
The next day, after enjoying some refreshing October PA air, we ended up in First Class on the direct flight home! Not too shabby!!!
As you can see, I was totally enjoying myself.
Next up we hiked to the top of Ensign Peak with our dear friend Nicole! Theis was HUGE for me and a goal I was trying to reach for the last two years! I DID IT!!!
The view from the top is amazing!
We then went on another fall outing with another good friend. This time it was the corn maze near the Great Salt Lake. It was a beautiful evening and a lovely break from city life.
We then ran into some bad air days and this is me camping out and feeling pretty miserable.
Chris ended up on an overnight about an hour from my parents. So they met up for dinner. It was really strange to get all these pictures of Chris and my parents and me not being there with them! But I loved that they had a great time!
Christmas happened and lots of snow came with it. We thoroughly enjoyed being snowed in on Christmas Day.
In January we made the trip out to PA once again. This time we got to spend some lovely time with some very dear friends!
We attended one of the most beautiful weddings ever!
Spent lots of time with this little lady and the rest of my family.
Here we are, back home and escaping another bad air day. This time reading and killing time in Park City.
We ventured up to see my mold doctor in Bozeman Montana in early February. As you can see, it was pretty chilly while we were there.
We had a few hours until my appointment, so we checked out the Museum of the Rockies.
And that brings us up to date and back home in Utah...waiting and wishing for Spring to come soon.
