I first read about Ruth's Diner in our Utah Curiosities book. After I read the fascinating and amusing story about Ruth, I just knew we had to check this place out. Check out Ruth's history here....she totally cracks me up.


We drove up after our tour of Temple Square in search of good food. We were not disappointed. SO many good looking options and a super helpful (and patient) waiter that helped me narrow down and find something I could eat. It was a beautiful evening, nice and cool. Our food was delicious and we had a great kick off to our anniversary week!

Here are Ruth's famous biscuits...Chris let me smell them. :)

Not the greatest of pictures. It was difficult to capture the diner nestled in the canyon. It's really hard to capture how small you feel while driving up the canyons and how big the canyon walls are. It's truly awesome.
